Program InformationThe major aims at cultivating talents with excellent professional quality, who are able to systematically master the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and methods of digital media technology, and have the ability to design and develop digital media productions.
Classes include Photography, Web Development, Video Production, Animation, Interactive Design, App and Game Development. Teaching real world application, at least 40% of class time is spent on applied learning with a focus on industry standard practice. This kind of training help students enrolled in this program combine technical and aesthetic skills in preparation for an industry that requires both and provides its students with the skills necessary to succeed in their career.

Facility includes various specialized labs, including a Game & Interactive Technology Lab, a Mobile Development Lab, a Graphics & Image Processing Lab, a Virtual Reality Lab, a Programming Lab, an Audio & Video Processing Lab, a Photo Studio, and a Digital Television Studio. The Digital Media Labs are used as classroom spaces, and may also be used by students for personal practice.
There are international collaborations with many foreign universities and research institutes in USA, Germany, Canada, Australia and UK. A new development within the department is the addition of an international component in App development, Internet technology, UI design and development, and digital video production. This has been implemented through exchange programs with foreign universities, and by inviting foreign guest professors to teach courses.
